What happened?

@KP they sent out rfe for medicals even though I added to my initial application. So I had to pay another $150 for a reconstruction of my forms. Fortunately I didn't do any new test. Just imagine if u r doing this for a family of 3 after spending $1200 for the initial one
K PDec 6, 2021
Smh. This is madness. Wait….WHO sent out the medicals, your atty?? Have you been vaccinated? The reason I asked, is, I have been fully, but I’ve not had the flu shot or the booster. I actually don’t want to have anymore vaccinations, since I had a bad experience w/the 2nd dose. I was wondering does USCIS ask for the latter?

Realler BoatDec 6, 2021
@KP sorry for your reaction. No I did all by my self. They might have lost it. The initial medical did not have the COVID vaccine and flu cuz I filled it July which was summer and because I did it before passing the law of including covid vaccine. So for the second time I have to submit prove of Covid vaccine and Flu shot. If u don't want to take the flu shot then wait until May or June to file u your application since flu is seasonal.

I heard some people got RFE for I-693 even though they submitted initially. And the reason was that they needed to submit with a new version of I-693 (Sep 13 version which shows whether you’re vaccinated for COVID-19 or not.) again even though they submitted before USCIS updated with a new one… 🤷🏻‍♂️

I strongly believe booster is not required. But pls double check on it.
K PDec 6, 2021
Gabriel Kim ~ A 2nd medical is required if the initial one is over 2yrs old. I will definitely need to redo mine, as I did mine in 2017. I just got my EAD but I was hoping & praying by some miracle that I would have my interview waived & receive my GC in the mail! The entire process is dragging along.
Gabriel KimDec 6, 2021
Yeah, I know that, but the people whom I mentioned submitted their I-485 with I-693 within a year, and then got RFE for I-693 which is very weird... Anyway, congrats on your EAD 🎉 and fingers crossed! 🤞🏻 Hopefully, we will get our green cards soon! 🙏🏻 🙏🏻

Yes u r right KP. Hopefully we will all get approved to lift this burden off our shoulders. Good luck everyone
K PDec 6, 2021
@Gabriel Kim ~ That’s why I was thinking I wouldn’t have to wait yrs for the GC, as I filed everything concurrently in 2018. Idk…..this whole immigration process is just topsy turvy.
K PDec 6, 2021
Realler Boat ~ I strongly believe the entire process will soon be over. 🙏

when did you file your petition?
I-130 Petitioner Dec 6, 2021
did you expedite
Gabriel KimDec 6, 2021
@Ahmed May 14 this year.
Gabriel KimDec 6, 2021
@Waitting for EAD No, I didn’t expedite. I have just waited. But I knew mine would be approved this month since USCIS is currently dealing with around my numbers.

hi what is your timeline from when you submitted your medical to when it said it was delivered to when you got rfe received status and also where you sent your medical (overland park or lee’s summit). thanks!!
Gabriel KimDec 12, 2021
@dan since I submitted my RFE, nothing’s changed yet. :( So no timeline... And I sent my RFE to FO, which is in New Mexico (but I live in California lol)
R
Realler BoatDec 12, 2021
@Kim don't once someone signed for it they have it. The same situation as mine I liked in NC but my FO was in FL. That's a good indication that no interview for u. Wait for 2 to 3 weeks after they received it and you will be approved.
Gabriel KimDec 12, 2021
@Realler I hope so, too! my RFE was delivered on Nov 23rd… hopefully they are processing it now 🙏🏻
