I-751
just sent in my paperwork for I-751. when do I apply for the N400? did I have to do that at the same time as the I-751? I have no clue. please if you have experience let me know the steps after applying for I-751.

@Theano Delgado 90 days before the third anniversary of your greencard. You are not eligible for N-400 now.

@Theano Delgado The send you an extension letter. Take that letter and your expired greencard to your local DMV

@Theano Delgado No you don’t have to…The DMV should already have your info if you are doing a renewal. You are essentially just updating your proof of legal presence with them.

Hi! is the extension letter the same as a receipt notice or acceptance notice? they just sent me a message that they received my case and that they will send me a receipt or acceptance letter in the mail. is that what I need to go to the DMV?
