Hello guys
On Friday I contact an agent through the website. The agent was nice and after providing my receipt number she told me that my case is outside of the normal time frame.
she went ahead and open a case review for me and told me to wait 30 days.
my case was received on July 06, 2020.
And reading some posts I know that they are currently working on March last year.
is this normal?
is this good news?

It’s normal because each case is different. A friend of mine who filled in September 2020 just got his green card.

how come your case is out of processing time? the timeline of ysc is 20 months to 23.5..

@chele that's a right! I also opened a SR for out of processing time, I did not get any response in 24 days so I called again. the agent was super nice, I requested her to set me up with tier 2. she did and told me I will get a call in next 30 days, confirmed security code and blah blah. I was very hopeful and happy that I will get to talk to tier 2. I hung up, tier 2 called me within 5 mins and told me that your case is not out of processing time and they will let you know if they need anything. I was so disappointed. I am wondering if that was a really tier 2 or just her colleague from next desk trying to help her out.
