i-751 pending divorce
marriage based Green card was granted for 2 years that expires this Nov 2023.
we are getting a divorce unfortunately but we ended in good terms. i do have an immigration lawyer and we want to file for a quick divorce through court ( Florida )
any suggestions? would that be a difficult process for me alone :(? im in utter shock but as much as i am in- i need to move on.
ps- we did not acquire any property or anything. no kids. no complications. we both want the divorce.
what docs should i prepare? i can get his affidavit too.

the better way apply for i 175 aftar that divorce.. and send them the divorce certificate and let them wave it to you . but anyway you do it is good .

you should have an affidavit from your ex, yes! it helps! the letter should say something like “we were together from this to this period of time and we both agreed with divorce and I confirm that (your name) is a good citizen and would be a great contribution to the United States of America”.

hi i have. joint utility, cable bill, joint savings account but with no transactions. ending balance is same as what we started but we did not close it. i have my bank statement with him as authorised user, cashapp random statements of money xfer, his old work insurance has me dependent when i did have any insurance. we have sams club membership of almst 3 yrs. joint tax returns, pictures,doctors note for anxiety recently. he got involved with someone else and he can write on affidavit. should we divorce and then apply i751 with waiver solely OR file together and then file for amended one
