I-751 online filing
Hello everyone, before I start sharing my story I would like to thank everyone here in advance, these groups and public support are very helpful and the advice you get here from people are very appreciated and helpful and sometimes believe it or not are more helpful than lawyers. I moved here on 12/2016 and first few months I applied for asylum, my case was based on me being a Christian, I was born in Nazareth and I have gone through wars and racism against Christian people in the middle east and wanted a better life for myself because it wasn't safe or secure raising a family there. My asylum case was pending until 2023, I adjusted my status because I met the love of my life and mother of my daughter, we filed our I-130 and got approved on 06/24/2024 and now I am sharing this because I just filed my I-751 online. I submitted: bank statements, credit card authorized user letter, marriage certificate and my daughter birth certificate, taxes return transcripts, insurance together, lots of pictures, notarized affidavits, 401K beneficiary for both of us, water and gas and phone bills and IDs showing the same address. The reason I am posting this is because of my past experience with USCIS, I got a NOID for my initial green card (I-130) because my lawyer didn't submit everything we sent him for I-130 and I had to take 2 months off in 2021 because It took them forever to renew my EAD during COVID when I was having a pending asylum case that has been officially withdrawn recently. So I have a weird and stressful flashback memories dealing with forms and cases like that. Any suggestions or ideas or even past experience you can share will be much appreciated, good luck to everyone here!!

@Kobe Az Hi Kobe, just submit every single marital evidence you can get your hands on from the day your conditional greencard was approved until the day you file I-751. 24 months of bank statements, joint insurance (auto, health, dental, vision), joint lease or home deed, birth certificate of child are some of the examples that come to mind. I-751 takes like 2 to 3 years so just know you will have to filed for citizenship while your case is pending.

@Kobe Az via your account via the USCIS website, upload everything U have. Additional to what Rocco listed for U, copies of mails U & your spouse received showing your address that both of U live together, series of photographs showing your relationship, birth certificate of your child, utility bills, light, telephone, internet, & maybe trash. DMV Driver’s License for both of U, front & back of bank cards for the joint bank statements. U see, I have a lawyer but when I was filing my I-751, I did it myself. I paid my lawyer her fees quite alight. I didn't trust a lawyer to do it for me. From my house, I arranged & separated everything, went to staples, scanned all documents according to how I arranged on one PDF & sent to USCIS. 48hrs after I submitted, the accepted my application. 7 days later, the sent my Notice of Extension via my account USCIS website. 7 days later, I received the one the mailed, 2 days later they sent me notification for fingerprints & i rescheduled for a closer date & after biometrics, I am waiting patiently. But I upload utility bills monthly whenever available to them.

thank you so much Jennie and Rocco ! do you recommend uploading extra evidence after the initial interview package?
Rocco FortéApr 4, 2026
@Kobe Az Yea but keep gathering more evidence and then upload them a week to your interview.

This seems like very strong evidence. Good luck!
