@Your approval is near. ππ½ππ½ππ½ congrats, I had a Combo interview today at Queens field office and immigration lady was terrible. Interview lasted over an hour with my wife, I passed the civic test and at the end of the interview she gave us a paper that β Decision canβt be made at this timeβ

Congratulations, I have a similar case and I'm waiting for my N400 and I751 interview. Could you tell me what personal questions they asked you?

@S L Thank you so much, and I am sorry to hear that your interview experience wasnβt pleasant and that they couldnβt make a decision right away, I know that must be very frustrating, hopefully youβll get good news soon. ππΎππΎππΎ Stay positive, youβve already come a long way!

@Aracely Hernandez The officer began with my I-751 case, asking how long Iβve been married to my husband, where I work, and whether I had any additional supporting documents to provide. I brought along a photo album, but he mentioned that I had already submitted sufficient evidence with my application. I then offered my 2024 tax documents and some mail showing proof of address. He only accepted the tax documents.
After completing the yes/no questions, we moved on to the N-400. For the civics test, he asked:
β’ Who is the governor of the state you reside in?
β’ What is Martin Luther King Jr. known for?
β’ In what month do we elect the president ?
β’ How many years is a president elected for?
β’ Who is the current president?
β’ Name one U.S. holiday.
He also had me read, βWe can voteβ on the screen, and then write, βOnly citizens can vote.β
At the end, he approved my case on the spot.

Hello, congratulations for your success in the process. It finally ends. I would like to know what time do you recommend summit the N400, 3 months before my 3 years with the green card or when I have my 3 years. thank you

@MJ D 3 months before, I submitted my N400 in march because I was busy with work and school.

@Your approval is near. ππ½ππ½ππ½ Did he asked you and your husband to sign electronically after the yes or no question on your I-751 interview before moving on to your N400? or he just went straight to the N400 without signing out on the i751?

@Dave Ken I only signed. The only thing my husband did that day was that he took the oath to say the truth.

@Dave Ken and yes I signed both cases electronically.

@Your approval is near. ππ½ππ½ππ½ You will be Ok, someone recently had an interview and the system didnβt let them sign after the yes or no question. it prompted the officer to let them know they couldnβt proceed with the N400 at the time and a white paper was given that says no additional information was required at this time.. They were having a system error which left her devastated and it was almost the end of business hours too. The officer notified her that they will send a new interview notice for the N400 along with the decision for the i751 which was completed manually. They still havenβt reached back out or sent any notifications regarding the case. I pray you hear a good news soon. Some officers are just heartless and mean for looking for ways to deny people. I wonder why your interview took over an hour. something must have triggered her.
