I-751 Interview transfer
Hello folks,
My case has been pending since 04/2023. I moved to MA in May 2023 and received interview notice on 02/13/2026 said interview scheduled on 3/12/26 at Atlanta FO(I used to live in Atlanta). But my attorney didn’t update my address per my request after filed at that time(also my fault didn’t confirm that). So I flew to Atlanta and had interview yesterday, the officer said she couldn’t interview me as my current address is in MA, and she transferred my case to MA office. Has anyone have similar situation regarding case transfer for interview? How long should I expect to receive new interview notice? Thanks! #I-751

Be very careful. You broke the law by not updating your address within 2 weeks of moving. They are targeting people who forget to update addresses since its the #1 thing you can be deported over without a conviction
