I-751 Interview Joint to waiver
Hello everyone, Good morning. I wanted to share that I had an interview yesterday where I requested a change from a joint petition to a waiver. Me and my wife so many differences, we both decided to live separately and we filed divorce. During the interview, the interviewer spoke with me for about 10 minutes casual questions and then interviewer asked if I had any questions. I didn't ask any questions at that time. interviewer very cool and friendly. Submitted all joint documents and statements from relatives, me and my spouse, It's possible that they might request additional information, such as a divorce decree, through a Request for Evidence (RFE) in the future.

@R K Congratulations on having a smooth interview. Do you know when your divorce will be finalized? You will need to send in a certified copy of your divorce decree before your case can be approved. All the best!

@Nic B Go ahead and get a divorce. Your case is very approvable. Check my story. Don’t stay where you are not wanted because of green card

@Rocco Forté what was the reason? does it matter the reason you got divorced?
Rocco FortéAug 18, 2023
@John Smith USCIS doesn’t really care why you got divorced. They care that your marriage was entered in good faith and not to evade the immigration laws. Get a divorce and amend your I-751 to a waiver
