I-751 Finally approved after almost 4 years
-Filed I-751 in May of 2020 -Fingerprint re-used in January 2021 -Didn’t hear anything back until October 2023 when I got a RFE request -The RFE request was nerve wrecking because my wife and I were separated at this point and living separately. We still had a joint bank account so I sent statements from that account and sent a letter explaining the separation to USCIS. -April 2024, case got approved without interview. -Pray about it and be transparent. Don’t stress about what you can’t control. I promise it’ll turn out okay, especially if you’ve made it as far as applying for the I-751. Stay positive and wait your approval.

am in the same boat still waiting..did you change your case to waiver
Hector ChavezApr 13, 2024
@gbagba Ellah I considered changing the case to a waiver but my lawyer advised that I wait until they call me in for an interview to do it. I would have attended the interview without my spouse and requested for the officer to change it to a waiver at the time of the interview. But fortunately, there was no interview. Got approval 3 months+ after submitting RFE
