Hello Everyone!
Can someone help me how to change joint I-751 application to Divorce waiver?
my case is at Vermont service center.
I sent my divorce decree and a letter to request my case type change but they returned my documents back to me.
Is it okay if I just upload my divorce decree and letter in my uscis online account?

Simple letter, notifying them (not requesting) that you wish to switch your previously filed and currently still pending I-751 filing, receipt #xxxxxx, to a divorce waiver, and that you are enclosing your final divorce paperwork. Upload as well as send them the letter.

I sent it the address in my receipt (Vermont) but they returned it to me back.

I think they copied it and sent the original back to you cause you must need it somewhere else. It‘s important to you
