The wait begins!
Had biometrics March 28, received 48 month extension letter for expired CGC. In for the wait as I won’t be applying for citizenship under 3 year rule, instead 5 year rule.

My 48 month extension is gonna expire in November 2025 ... does anyone knows? If I don't receive my green card, I think gonna automatically send me a new extension letter or do we have to apply for that?

@sim 8666 did you think of applying N400? it might expidite
keep waitingApr 5, 2025
why 5 yr rule instead of 3 yrs
Curious OneApr 5, 2025
@p man because the 3 year rule which will be applicable for me next year means sending USCIS more evidence based on my marriage which I gave them back in 2021 to get my CGC in 2023. The five year, which I will file in 2027, means less evidence required for N400😉
@gbagba Ellah no waiver.
@keep waiting 5 year rule to apply for citizenship due to less evidence required by USCIS🤓I will not have to send mounds of evidence based on marriage like I have done twice now during process for initial CGC and ROC.
@sim 8666 ADIT stamp will be required I believe. https://www.uscis.gov/newsroom/alerts/uscis-announces-additional-mail-delivery-process-for-receiving-adit-stamp
