i-751 48 month notice?
Hello Everyone! has anyone received the new 48 month notice? my 24 month extension runs out in march and my employer has been worried for me, telling me that I cannot work past that day unless I give them the 48 moth extension.
so… have you received your 48 month extension letter yet??

First of all, that is illegal for your employer to say that. It is not your permanent residence expiring but your proof of permanent residency. As for the expiration, you can call the USCIS to schedule an appointment to get your passport stamped. You need to show your employer the law about employment authorization.

You are allowed to work in this case, I spoke to the USCIS service center, they said it’s fine. I’m in the same boat, no worries to work.
