I-751 - Case Status Inquiry
Hi Everyone! I put in a case status inquiry for my pending I-751 application back on 3/27/24. I was wondering if anyone knew how quickly I can expect a response from USCIS? Timeline below but to summarize, Texas Service Center, case received 10/8/2021. 909 days and counting… #I-751

oh my gosh! I didn’t know it takes this long. I hope you hear something soon. I just submitted mine so I guess I will be waiting for 5 years lol

Yeah, it didn’t in the past! But 3+ year waits seem to be more common unfortunately.

You can submit inquiry via local Congress. You can sue USCIS for a delayed case on your own, you will get a decision within 60 days. Do youtube search to learn more about it, and to get assistance with it "Writ of Mandamus Pro Se"

@B shee Thank you! hopefully I get a response this week then. Have you been approved since you responded to the RFE?

@more grace Yeah I’ve seen others having success that way. I will likely do the same soon if the inquiry response doesn’t tell me anything.

I have make several inquiries same bullshit either they say backlog or case still in normal processing if you get decision in the next 60 day feel to make another, the fact is that Uscis doesn’t give priority removal of conditions case

If I were you I would not bother or stress about it at all. I am assuming you already have an extension until Oct 2025 and you would also be eligible to submit N-400 in Oct 2024. Did you file jointly?
D
Danny AdamsApr 7, 2024
@Adam T Yeah I have my 48 month extension until Oct 2025, I believe I am already eligible to apply for N-400 (permananet resident since Nov 2019). No real impact since I can still work and travel, just frustrated by USCIS taking thousands of dollars from me and taking 2.5+ years to process the application!

If you apply for naturalization, the I-751 case will be expedited and it will be approved @Danny Adams
