i-730 weirdest situation!!! help me make it make sende...
so, I filed for i-730 for my wife who is outside of the US. she actually also has got a tourist visa. while she's on her tourist visa in the US right now, they called her for biometrics?
I'm not very familiar with how i730 works when inside the US, do you guys think they switched us to i-730 inside the US since they saw she's in the US right now?
I'm calling them tomorrow. Crazy!

you just need to change her address( US Adress) . and instead of facing embassy she has to face USCIS.
I have same experience with my daughter.

how was your experience with your daughter because we need her to be able to leave the country, and go thru the embassy. so confusing. how was he situation with your daughter if you don't mind sharing

her visa was f1 and she got an appointment to USCIS for feb 2024 and according to USCIS: “when it finished she will be able to apply EAD and after year she can apply for GC “

no! once your i730 approved and for the further processing like biometrics ead etc

@Deep Path how long is the wait?? I received i797 October last year and my biometrics were taken in government 2023(last year) I am still waiting for the next step. I am in the states

she is still not supposed to exceed the 6 month period @Mi Im because that opens a whole other can of worms
