@Mi Im If your relative is an asylee and applied to bring you to the United States using the I-730 (“follow-to-join asylee”) process: Your case is not affected. - “Asylees” are people who received asylum status once they were already in the United States. Family members of asylees who are applying to come to the United States using the I-730 process are not affected by the executive order, because their cases are not part of USRAP.

@Mi Im I had the same response as @Victoria R gave from my attorney. I-730 should not be affected.

@A K @Victoria R here is the response I received so far .This is for refugee.I apply for my spouse outside US. Currently, the pause in refugee case processing only applies to processing of refugee follow-to-join applications that have already received an I-730 approval and are now at the stage of consular processing/interview/travel/etc. That could, of course, change anytime I will keep you updated. A same response from Asylum office in CA

@Mi Im Hey,my i-730 interview waslast year i was told to drop off my passport at the embassy on Jan and now my visa is issued but it took 3 weeks should i be worried about this suspension what did your attorney said about printed visas pls

@mati mateo my lawyer told me both asylum and refugee who file for their family abroad are maybe affected with suspension those who are in a process for interview travel, processing but still need to monitor the changes within 90 days from the day Pres Trump back to whitehouse. I am waiting for RFE response

@Khan 804 sorry to hear that. it’s weird. maybe it’s only suspended for the beneficiary that is outside of the USA since it has to go through additional consular process.

@Khan 804 Hi bro! I have a question for you. How long does it take to send your I-730 to NVC after getting approval? Or you never waited for the status to change to "case was sent to Department of State" and sent the inquiry to NVC?

@Be Happy they suspension by mistake it was clear and documents qualified and now they they said next step is your interview.
