I-693 while "actively being reviewed"
Does it worth stepping ahead and scheduling for the immigration consult to have the form I-693 ready before they ask for it ? I rather have everything ready it´s been 4 months since the beginning, and once they schedule my IV or RFE I would like to have I-693 ready Any opinion is welcomed I-130, I-485, I-762 (oct filler PD Oct 15th) Biometrics done Actively reviewed since Nov 18th

I had the same question. got my biometrics done in jan 2022. thinking of getting medical done just in case since the validity is 2 years

Itlbnna jrm so if someone applying for AOS (married to LPR) didn’t upload I-693 with their form I-485, should they do it while the case is being actively reviewed or wait for to receive RFE? will that delay processing time even more? It says in the form that you should have filed I-693 with I-485 but since I didn’t know about this rule, do you suggest I do it now or wait to get RFE?

so how i understand it is that if u include it with your i485, u need to make sure your i693 was signed my doctor within 60 days of submitting 485. if you are submitting 693 after 485 is filed, the 4 years rule applies. this is tricky on your part bec youre doing aos via someone who is lpr. i am married to citizen so my processing time in my fo is 9.5-22 months which is within the 4 years validity. i dont know what fo or timeline you have to recommend the appropriate approach.

I’m assuming my timeline won’t be 4 years. it says 13.5 to 24 months on the Uscis processing times page

theres so many factors really that goes into this decision and u just need to be careful to assess your own situation vs comparing w others. i looked at different forums about my FO, Reviewed feedback from others, talked to a few people.. for my own perspective, it was the right choice to get it as soon as possible bec i dont have a problematic case, etc… uscis processing times is a great tool but seen people w records or overstaying visas etc can throw off ur case outside of it.
