I-693 Deficiency
Hello everyone, On July 1st I received a I-693 Deficiency notice because I didn’t file form I-693 with my form I-485 in March. I was informed on the I-693 deficiency notice to not mail document at the time. My questions are: 1) Can I go ahead and complete my medical and have it ready for whenever they scheduled my interview ? 2) How long is form I-693 valid after completing it? 3) Since it’s been more than 60 days since I submitted my form I-485, If I complete my medical now , how long would it be valid for ? I don’t want them to schedule my interview & I’m struggling to find the nearest USCIS doctor or have my form completed in time for my interview. Looking forward to your feedback. I-485 was submitted March 30.2020. Priority date is Dec 15,2019.

Firstly stay strong and positive! Wait for the interview notice Shedule medical appointment after notice received. Google easyIME Shedule medical medical appointment. Not legal advice, just my opinion

Thanks for that info. That was my thinking knowing there’s no telling how long green card interview will take to be scheduled

okay, thanks for your feedback. similar situation. uhm, let’s jus double check with someone else if that’s the case, in regards to the form I-693 being valid for 2 years if you didn’t complete it within 60 days after submitting form I-485.

My approach is to have it done once my interview is scheduled , for now jus making sure I’ve my immunization documents in order. We normally get a 2-3 weeks window from the notice saying interview is scheduled to the actual interview date.

if you proceed you may have out of date documents. you need to wait as those documents are time sensitive and expire after 30 days proceeding your Dr appointment.
