I married a citizen!! but used to have J1 visa with a restriction of 2 years in my country after visa done. didn't go back that's why the I-601A. stay here and got married that's.

i601 is while you apply staying out of US and i601a if you are in US. I filed i601a and I did file i130 first and got approved then file i601a
