My wife had a similar timeline. we filed on Aug 2020 and had biometric on May 10, 2021. She received the approval two weeks ago.

my RD is Sep 21,2020 and had my fingerprint completed on May 12, 2021. Still waiting …

I am still waiting as well. Not sure if any other September 2020 filers got their H4 approval.

the online fb group shows people in Dec, Jan and Feb getting approvals which is why I am confused about why we haven't received approvals

yes, I tried to do expedite but it was denied. Do you have any update on your case? I am not sure if September 2020 filers are getting approvals yet.

I tried but it was denied. I know some October, November filers got approval. I received my H1b RFE due to the pending H4, so frustrated and hopeless…. I will update if my case is approved

some are from Vermont but most of them are from California

@claire same here with me. my h1B got RFE because H4 was pending. my filing date was in November and I just received approval for my H4 today

Congrats!!! how did you response the RFE? or you got approved while responding to the RFE? my attorney will response as request to approve both the h4 and H1b due to the long waiting time, if the Uscis doesn’t agree, then request them to approve CP. actually I prefer not to go CP since the COVID and the restrictions. I wish I could receive approval soon.😭

@amy yeah it was Vermont @claire we haven't responded yet. my H1-B RFE we had responded to earlier asking them to approve both H4 and H1 got an RFE again. gave up and decided to wait it out because consultes are closed everywhere a d the earliest appointment is still many months away. what is your RD? maybe it is only a short wait from here. you can definitely make that request from USCIS to your RFE but it is very dependent on the officer handling your case

My RD is 9/21/2020. did your employer support your decision( wait it out)? I prefer stay in country waiting as well but I am worried that my employer will revoke my offer if they don’t know how long they gonna wait…

@claire they did, I was anxious about whether would truly wait so I started applying for other jobs just in case. thankfully this came through
