@Mona 🇯🇲🇱🇷 they don’t work in order. I’m from Canada and i married a US citizen (after having 4 work visas approved in the 10 years I’ve been here) so I don’t have to wait for my priority date to be current. I am just unlucky I believe. I see a lot of October cases being approved and my case has been just sitting at NBC I think because it’s so straight forward but it’s taking forever!!!

how did you get through a live agent? every time I call they do not allow me to speak to anyone. we submitted our 765 and 485 forms August 1st, 2023 and have not had anything since fingerprints. when I submitted an inquiry, we were told that everything is taking longer. and we dont even have a work permit yet

@A M go on uscis website scroll to the bottom and select contact us. you will see Emma pop up. open it and type agent and follow the instructions

@A M the service is often down. I have tried a few times the last few days and I get a note saying the service is down and to try again later. 🙄

@A M no I didn’t do an interview all not ask for any more evidence only thing they needed was my medical and another affidavit

congratulations. i got married in 2021 and I didn’t put my paperwork in until October 2023. I got my social and work permit by December and February they asked for more evidence which I sent in May. I’m patiently waiting to hear back from them with some good news. again congratulations, can gaa yaad now 😊

@A M that’s sad but I see most people from like India and other Spanish speaking countries taking a long while to get work permit. just pray you still within normal processing time so hopefully you get through before the year ends

same thing happened yesterday. but the approval for the I-130 popped up only on my husband’s account and only “actively reviewing” on mine. I spoke with a live agent and they told me that my I-485 is approved as well and awaiting production. but I’m yet to see any updates on my end since yesterday.
