hi, I applied in July 23 for i485 but my case has always been at NBC. As of now the status is fingerprints have been applied to your case. do you think i should contact Emma and ask if my file is at FO? my priority date is dec 2017

@R Btz: My PD date is also Dec 2017. Case is at NBC. There is no harm in asking Emma live agent. at least they can share if the case moved to FO or not

@A P: Any movement is good movement. This is a rule of thumb. Let’s see if you get a direct approval or an interview scheduled.

@R Btz Emma is all BS. Call them and talk to live agent and politely ask the case update and ask if the case is at NBC or a FO. If the officer is helpful they will tell you. They aren’t supposed to share the location of the case. Good luck.

Based on seeing case status of July filiers, it appears that USCIS hasn’t gotten to July yet. We have a long way to go.

@A P : I am EB1C. What cases are you seeing USCIS adjudicating right now? And, you mean the AOS filing date right?

@Raj S Not specific to any EB categories but I haven’t seen anyone got approval among general employment based cases who filed around July. EB1, EB2, EB3

i filed 485 in June 2023 and just got approved last week. it was at Nebraska the whole time without transferring to FO. Given the time difference yours should be getting approved soon!!
