Just explain everything to them. I went to smaller places, but they refused to help me. One of them even told me to work for free. Then I tried a bigger corporate company, and they were happy to help. Took me so long to find the right places.

@Emma Ye hello, did you tell the employers about supplement J when you were interviewing with them or after when you got hired by them? and what kind of vocabularies you used in order to explain to them which not makes them confuse about this Supplement J?

@yellow banana 🍌 @bored ape I didn’t tell them at first. I told them after two weeks of starting work. 😅 I was so tired of looking for companies, so I decided not to say anything at the beginning. Then I started working and worked very hard to show them who I am. Not only that, I also started in the wrong position. My lawyer said that wasn’t right and that I needed a similar position. Since it’s a corporate company, I waited four months for the right position to open. Then I applied, got the job, and after that, they signed my Supplement J.

@yellow banana 🍌 @bored ape I just explained how I got my work permit and that the company which sponsored me was sold. Now I need to transfer my case. It’s not about finding a new company to sponsor me—I just need to be working and have pay stubs. I only explained the basics.

@yellow banana 🍌 FYI, I started part-time because corporate companies almost never hire full-time. But Supplement J requires a full-time job, so I transferred from part-time to full-time. Before you apply, make sure to check the SOC code for the same or similar positions. Goodluck!

@Qng Ng I obtained all the company information from HR and provided it to my attorney. Once she completed the forms, I submitted them to HR for review and signature. After verifying everything, HR signed the documents, and my attorney then submitted them to USCIS. Basically, we only sent Supplement J, so please check with your attorney.

the best way to find a sponsor is choose a company apply to work for them without mentioning that you need a supplement j work for one do good work make them like you then ask them for supplement j they will do it for you 100%
