i-485 reviewed
So I have been told by Emma that my i-485 was reviewed by an officer at my local FO 2 days ago.
F2A category - my PD is not current yet. Any idea why my case would be reviewed by an officer if I am not yet current?
Suggestions welcome!

I had the same thing. My I-130 is approved last week and at the same time got 3rd actively reviewed for I-485.

@M. Y. That also happened to me back in August. it's so confusing.

@Matt F they may adjudicate your I-485 while you're not current but they will not issue you a gc. your status will change to case remains pending. btw this information from a live agent is useless. nobody knows how many times officers are supposed to review a case before adjudicating.

@N F I guess it is still progress if the i-485 gets approved, even if no green card is issued. What happens once PD becomes current? Does a green card get automatically issued? Or will the case need to be revisited by an officer?

@Matt F I believe it's supposed to be reviewed one more time. CRP cases are priority anyway.
