finally my case was moved to processing - how long does it take from processing to the next step ? I am still waiting on my EAD to be processed as well

Honestly it depends on where you are located and your specific situation.
I applied for the AOS on August 24 , not even a month later I got the approval letter for EAD , and a week later I got the card by mail.
At this point I believe it all depends on your case and there is only an approximate time frame. Hopefully you get the EAD asap and everything gets sorted out soon for you. Good luck!
