it really depends! normally you should receive a medical RFE if you have not submitted medical with your 485 package! the whole process until approval should not be more than 6-7 months! unlesd you stuck in a bad Field Office (e.g., Sacramento) like me! it is bern 1 year since I responded to medical RFE and still nothing!

Thanks for the reply. I have not sent in medicals initially so RFE will come. And the case is not in any FO yet I believe (no transfer).

mine took 3 months to move to a FO and another 3 months to get the approval.
