I-485 interview
Hi everyone
I would appreciate if you can help me out here. I’m a RN, working in the hospital. Today I received an update that they scheduled me for my I-485 interview. I found out through Emma it is next month. I still have to wait for the letter in the mail. Does anyone know what questions they ask and what documents I need to take with me? #interview #I-485 #RN #Philadelphia FO #PhiladelphiaFO

All questions about your school, family and experience as a RN. They will also want to see all school records you have.

@lily soto name, location study area. They might want to quiz you in your field as well to test your skills. For instance, what do you do when a patient arrives at the emergency and can’t speak?

@lily soto the instance was just an example. Questions will be towards your main job function as an ICU nurse.

I do not believe that the officer will quiz you about RN skills that is not there field of expertise . The questions will be general. How did you enter the United States, what was your status before, the sponsor who petitioned you, any information related to your previous status, was the position a bona fide one, your pay stubs or tax returns if any.

PD jan.2023 working for employer now

get a letter from your employer stating that you are still employed full time. take your pay stubs, school diplomas and transcript, your license, your I-94, all EAD cards, all passports. They ask about where do u work and where do u live. they go over alll your answers on the I485 with you.
