@The only one my vawa got approved march 2024 and never received any update from my 485 no RFE or interview. I’m waiting 1811 days.

I did my interview last month October 15 hopefully I get some answers. Life is vanity especially when I remember how long my process has been in the last 10 years so I’m leaving everything in God’s hands don’t really care what they do

@The only one No RFE, no interview. I’ve done several inquiries and the only answer I get is “we’re still reviewing your case.” Isn’t it ridiculous? Almost 2 years and they’re still reviewing it. where is your case now which center? mine Boston Massachusetts

@fifi fifi my vawa got approved September 2024, RFE medical received March 5 and all now I can't hear anything. I made inquiry, my lawyer made inquiry nothing and mine is also Boston MA. I think the Boston office is moving slow with Vawa cases, a friend of mine is waiting over 2 years after Medical and each time his lawyer inquiry, nothing.

@Love ❤️ wow that is ridiculous, I did 3 inquiries, 2 through the Boston senator and the other one with the phone I did called them . you friend get a RFE ?

You need to contact Senator or Congressman ASAP, that’s doubled the time it took to get your VAWA approved, we submitted VAWA same Feb 08 2021, I got VAWA approved Dec 12 2022, GC Aug 29 2023 and Aug 20 2024 because citizen through military and you still at GC process? that’s crazy contact them NOW

@fifi fifi his last RFE was 2023 for I 864 after medical. and I think he had a first time offense dui they sent for the disposition after that all in 2023 and that was it

@fifi fifi yes my dear, its exhausting and stressful. my c31 permit will be up next September but its stressing me out now that they don't have automatic extension and its taking forever to get receipt notices not to mention to get new new work permit. I would loose my job and with all the responsibilities I have and bills to pay its just putting me in a depressive mood when I think about it.

@Love ❤️ Mine too. My VAWA work permit will expire soon, in March 2026, so I applied for a new one, which cost me $600. I received the receipt number after one week. My last work permit took 14 months to arrive.

I dnt file yet bcuz its too early. But since recently they stop automatic extension. so when its time to file i won't get it.

@Love ❤️ Yes, I don’t blame you. We’re supposed to get our green cards, not keep applying for work permits — it’s just a waste of time and money. It’s not fair that some people get their green card in 6 months while we’re left waiting forever.

@fifi fifi exactly. I have mortgage car payment plus a baby on the way 😭 so I can't afford to not have a valid work permit or my green card.

@Love ❤️ I believe that after your baby is born, and you let them know, they will approve your case quickly.
