I-485 Finally Approved
I had been struggling with my VISA status over the past 12 years. Lost so much on the way and suffered so much pains in this journey. It’s finally here. Happiness and sadness come in the same time and I’m not sure how to deal with it. The new chapter is about to begin but I’m not sure if I’m ready. I wish all the best for you who are still in the same journey and wish you will soon get out of this suffering.

@SMDA 15 I was referring to the 5th and 6th digits in the receipt number. I read online that cases with similar submission dates are grouped in the same “receipt block/ batch”.

@SMDA 15 It took me 107 days from filing to receiving the physical card. But if you are talking about the entire process including getting PERM and I-140 approval, it took 3 years to completed.

@Pau sando Yes, I did file I-765 but I didn’t really use it. It was approved 1 month befofe I-485.

@Pau sando No worries. I had both I-765 and I-485 approved but not I-131. My I-131 got updated to “Case Closed Benifit Received By Other Means” after I received the green card.

@Wei-Ting Lin first big congrats! I just got the new card being produced message I-485 EB2. question - how long did it take from new card message to greencard in hand? and did you get any interim status updates on USCIS website?
