I-485 Family based Interview canceled
just spoke to an agent and she told me that my interview is been canceled and I asked her if it’s waived or canceled. she said it’s been canceled and also said that they have a covid breakout and it will be rescheduled. Also stated that my case is still at NBC. interviews are held at Field office so I am not sure how covid breakout at NBC is related to interview at field office. But yes thank you for adding a more wait on my application.

I never received any notice she she asked me twice it we requested to reschedule and I said we never got a notice. she was it was been canceled on June 28th.

In some cases, they might skip the interview and just approve your i485 application and provide you with the GC card, all the best.

my interview was cancelled as well. scheduled for today on June 3. cancelled on July 1. now just waiting. and they don’t give much info when you call. they just say wait for a letter. it’s so frustrating

@Catie P, it is definitely annoying and we are in limbo and don’t know what’s going on and why the interview is been canceled and how long it will take to find out if they are going to reschedule or waive.
