I-485 Expedited Request Approved
Been a nightmare process thus far, but managed to get congress rep to request an expedite, which was approved by USCIS on Feb 1st.
Anybody experienced an expedited approval? my case has remained pending since May 2023. I became current Jan 1st 2024 - no status change or anything.
Hoping the expedited approval actually means something…anyone gone through similar, please do let me know!

If your case is already with an officer then it’s means nothing. You might want to exercise patience and hope the officer gets to your turn quickly

My PD is Jan 2022. Congress rep got involved when I was able to prove USCIS erroneously retrogressed my application back in May 2023. But they were unwilling to do anything about it until my PD became current again - which it did in Jan.

The Firm’s attorney (Ogletree) is useless - they’ve been stalling, unresponsive and did nothing when I escalated initially. Eventually, however, they introduced me to the congressman rep for my state - who’s been really helpful. He was able to confirm that the expedite request was approved - but I just don’t know what that means / ETA, as my online status still says ‘case remains pending’.
