I-485 denied because of INA 245 (c) after approval of I-765 and I-131 !!
Hey Guys,
I got approved for the Workauthorization ( I-765) and Advance Parole(I-131) and got sent the Documents( Physical Card)
. I was waiting for my SSN to arrive and today I got an mail that my Adjustment of Status (I-485) got denied because of Violations of INA 245(c). I have to say the violation was also because of COVID 2020.
Is there someone who had the same problems ? I will talk to my lawyer tomorrow, but is there anyone with similar problems and what are the chances to clear the situation and still have chances to remain eligible for the I-485 ?

INA 245c does not apply to immediate relative of a US citizen

as said above does not apply to immediate relative of a us citizen. are you married to a permanent resident? did you overstay your visa?

Your lawyer should know what to do, he will apply for exemption.

yes married to a permanent resident (Greencardholder).
my lawyer starts to file for I-290B. did any of you guys do this as well ? and what are the chances?

if you overstay or work without unauthorization you also need to file waiver with your application

does that mean his i765 will be revoked??I have same issue pls but my lawyer said I have to file all documents again ..I got my ssn and authorization pls some one should help and reply

@mary Mary I think ubhave to re file all you can't have 2 ssn though but you have to talk tonyour lawyer and refill all the cases again

@mary mary once you get denied everything will be canceled out, I got denied once and they told me to return my work authorization

@mary mary what exactly did your lawyer tell you ? and what was the explanation for the denial ?
I just got my card but without SSN and my lawyer told me we will file for I-290B within 33 days.

at rosh did you refill all your document again when u got denied and where u able to fill I 290b or it was not necessarily any more

bidemi Kalejaiye if you file I 290b u are appealing which I think u don’t need it so it better to file all again so your lawyer is 100%right and believe me with 2 month u will get approved becos you are already on the system

hi guys,
quick update. we filed I-290 B and it was denied also.
my wife has a appointment for her citizenship end of this month. my lawyer told me to file for a motion again and after my wife hopefully gets the citizenship we have to file my whole application again based on citizenship.
Is there anyone with similar history ?
Also when filing whole application new and including application for work authorization and travel document, how long will it take ? I also was approved for work authorization and advanced parole but never received SSN after the adjustment of status got denied.
