i-485 denial
hello all! i recently replied to the RFE for medical documents for my green card processing. I forwarded it to my lawyer and they sent it to USCIS. I just got a. otice this morning that it was denied for some reason. what were the steps you took after if you experienced this?

I'm sorry to hear that. Does one have to refile again with filing fees if denied? That's my worse fear right now with money being tight.

Just fill it out again.
Do not use the 290b(motion to reopen or reconsider a case)
Because this application takes forever to process.

an update: the Dr. used the outdated medical form I-693. That was the reason for the denial. very angry and frustrated right now that I have to wait more to appeal the case.

OMG! Incompetence at the highest level. At least you know it wasn't anything you did wrong. Hopefully this dr can get rectify this matter & you can get on w/your life. Thanks for keeping us up to date. Good luck!

Sorry to hear that JM. Am surprised the Dr didn't know of this. They charge a lot of money and make this expensive mistake. Am also surprised USCIS should have requested for the current form instead of denying the whole application. Hope your appeal goes well.
