😂maybe the new update is for new card being produced

that’s what I was expecting! and you never know with USCIS…

After new card produced on Sept 4, we got approval 2wice. one on 5th, one on 6th. it doesn't matter your card will reflect the date of the first approval (either new card produced or case approved whichever comes first). You don't need to worry.

same over here. got “card is being produced” saturday 9th. later, got case approved on the 12th and then case approved again on the 13th.. do you know how long until I receive the actual card? @ChristinMe 003 @Suzy K

same thing happened to me and I almost lost my mind! glad to see it’s rather common and benign from the comments here

@I AM both cards' tracking numbers (primary and dependent) were created same day (Sept 12), however primary received on the 13th, dependent on the 15th. So about 9-11 days from New card being produced.

@I AM can you comment when you hear back about card . i am on same dates as you

@I AM @Mean Maths congrats! I never had a card is being produced status. I just received the third I-485 approval update today… they really start freaking me out a bit!

I say wait 10 days from first approval , in my notice confirming approval all I had was 1st date ( card being produced date )

I think I’m in the same batch as you (new card being produced in 09/15, approved 09/19, approved again 09/21). have you received the approval notice?

oh that’s good to hear. I actually only got 3 approved updates, no card being produced 🥲. No approval notice either, but this one might go to my lawyer?

Just now my informed delivery portal shows a tracking number (pre-shipment, so not picked up by usps yet) from uscis production facility.

@ggkk hhii thanks for the update. can’t sign up for informed delivery but haven’t gotten anything in the mail either. I thought delivery would be rather soon…

@ggkk hhii just found my card in the mail! an hour earlier or so, case status updated that the card was delivered. I hope you got yours as well!
