I-485 Case remains pending
Folks with Case remains pending for I-485, who missed FY 2022. It looks like USCIS has already started approving I-485 for marriage, family and asylum based cases since Oct 1st. Did anyone received I-485 approval based on their pending EB1, EB2, and EB3 petition. Could you please comment here, so we can predict the approval pattern again here? Thanks

Still on CRP. Hoping to get approved this month as new fiscal year begins.

Mine is still CRP and I'm EB2 current - I don't know what order of cases they follow, but they should approve my GC in the coming days. I never understood why it was not approved for FY2022 when I submitted everything as requested to get it approved.

pr gOct 3, 2022
mine is showing fingerprints received since September 22, 2022. please let me know what is next expected in terms of time and status change?

@Pete E, I hope so too, we should hear from them at least this month as all visa got exhausted/used up last month.
M BOct 3, 2022
@Pablo Stein, I don’t think they fallow order based on EB1, EB2, and EB3, It all depends on field office, medical RFE, and others. I am EB1A current just missed the FY2022 due visa being used up. I got Medical RFE after concurrently filing with I-485. We submitted and it was updated that they received it. I was expecting decision but suddenly turned out to be CRP on sept 6th. In turn, they just approved my EAD which we recently received. Hope for the best!

@Pierre Benjamin, Can you elaborate what happened to your I-485? Do you see any updates or you don’t know which center is processing your application?
M BOct 3, 2022
@a l, was your medical RFE about hepatitis B? mine was Hepatitis B update, which I did and sent it back, they received and updated on case status.
a lOct 3, 2022
same here update for HepB second RFE
M BOct 3, 2022
@Priyanka g, The next update would be Decision unless they issue a RFE or interview which is unlikely these days as most interviews are being waived except Marriage based applications. when did you file your case? what is your Priority date?

Just noticed One person with EB2-1 Oct 2021 got approved today
M BOct 3, 2022
@a l, my case is sitting at California FO after Medical RFE and not sure if it was sent back to NBC.

There were two types of CRP’s that were issues. Mine was the “transfer of underlying basis request”……..! Others got “visa unavailable”. I’ve seen the “visa unavailable” approvals but, none for the CRP that I got. I turned in medicals with the package. PD-Aug 8th, Receipts-August 12th, Bio applied-August 17th, Supp J-Fee waived on August 30th and Sept 8th-Case Remains pending.
Center: NBC, I-140 approved-Jan 2012.

I have CRP as well (transfering underlying...) and my case according them was transferred from NBC to a FO then back to NBC. When I called they said my I485 was affected by the retrogression as I'm EB3 unskilled. However I am EB3 skilled as an RN so I don't even know what they are doing or even if they are looking at the details of each application. I submitted an inquiry asking them why they have me as unskilled. I got an email last week that says I will get a decision in 15 days. Let's see what happens.

I noticed the following message from USCIS on my case status yesterday. We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available to you. Once an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available to you, we will resume processing of your application.
PLEASE NOTE: In the event that you have submitted a valid transfer of underlying basis request, then this Case Status Online message does not mean that USCIS has paused work on your application. Our systems do not currently have the capability to automatically update the receipt of a transfer of underlying basis request or Supplement J at this time. The message will be updated in Case Status Online, however, after USCIS takes some other action on the adjustment of status application (for example, issuing a request for evidence, transferring the application between offices, or approving the application).
