@ Ka aJ, NBC all the time, but when I was issued medical RFE, they sent to California, Santa Ana. I live in Louisiana.

SM, I submitted I-485 to Dallas Lockbox, the. it went to NBC and remained until I received Medical RFE second time. it took approximately 10 days to receive the receipt after I-485 submission.

Lemon Pepper, RFE was about Hepatitis B vaccination! I submitted my 693 along with 485.

@ M B, Congratulations! For your RFE, did you re-send a newly completed form I-693 for all vaccination records and physical exams OR just a new form I-693 for Hepatitis B only?

@J K, I sent a newly completed I-693 as the version has changed recently. My all vaccination record and physical was reentered by physician. older versions of the forms are not accepted now otherwise they will issue RFE. And Hepatitis B is must as of May 20, 2022 I guess. Please check the USCIS notification. Hope that helps!

@Sid, It usually takes 1-2 business days. Now we are going through weekend, I am expecting it to change to Case approved by Monday evening. card will be delivered 4-6 days after this case status.

@RM S, No interview for me. I guess all EB cases get interview waived unless the applicant loose job after applying for adjustment of status. I am a Biomedical Scientist applied under EB1A.

@Sid2022, I just noticed that the my Case has been approved now in the USCIS case status. so this is exactly 1 day after Card being produced. I hope to receive GC in 4-5 days.

Those who have CRP will get the decision soon. Just a matter of few few days, Being patient, helped me a lot get through this. You will be happy like me soon.

@AL, nothing to do with I-131, it is up to them whether to approve or not, They already approved my GC, which is enough to work, live and travel. they will probably close that case once my GC has been delivered to me. I requested to expedite I-131, but thank god, they approved my GC right away.

@VS, my case updated to RFE has been received and then went to CRP for a month, the turned to new card being produced after I contacted them to correct something on my case.

@Vik Vik, I first ask questions about green card and live agent three times. I contacted many times since last 5 months and I always got connected to live agent(most of the times, tier 1 agent) and a couple times tier 2. When I got connected to live agent, I simply explained her about My case remains pending, and as my case status saying, we temporarily pausing work on your application. I told her that Visa Belletin for Oct and Nov 2022 is current and it has been current whole entire year 2022. So I continued saying that it doesn’t ma me sense to me about pausing work on my application as USCIS should have 1,40,000 visa available since Oct 2022/ new fiscal year. My other argument was My category is EB1A, first priority worker and visa should be available as per the Nov VISA bulletin. I mentioned to her that there is either something wrong or it doesn’t make any sense to me. This conversation was all gentle and professional. She finally got convinced and decided to put this conversation into an small message to adjudication officer. My case got approved in two calendar days. What I learnt from my recent conversation is with many agents is be kind, Request don’t demand, be precise in what you are asking, contact at least with two valid sounding reasons and request answer. some agents are not very helpful but some are really good. If this happens to you move on close chat and connect again the next day. if you contact the same day, they might say you already contacted them. Hope this helps!

@ S A, Not yet, there is no update on the case status, I was expecting that USPS picks up the card by now but not sure. Looks like it is delayed or just card is on the way but not updated at all. I will wait until Monday or Tuesday. anyways approval notice is on the way, I will probably receive it by Monday. Wish me luck!

@M B two quick questions: 1. how often did you contact Emma? 2. Do you think a call from a Tier 2 guy is better or Emma live chat? All the Emma I chatted with said they couldn’t not send any message to adjudicate officers. thanks!

@VS, I contacted whenever I suspect my case is being stranded or not going according to my predictions. means please look at my timeline, EB1 visa should technically take 6 months. After reading USCIS announcements in March 2022, I came up with a probable dates of how my case will be processed stepwise. For example, receiving the receipt of I-485 application (7-10 days post submission) When I applied I referred a lot of posts here, most importantly I spent lot of time on Hilites Data as well as Chen immigration guidelines. Everytime, I am expecting a status update as per my hypothetical dates, I use to chat with Emma, to hear something new or sometimes called that USCIS number. I am not sure if these helped but I received the updates around the same dates I originally came up with. Unfortunately my application processing was halted due to visa unavailability in Sept mid and last week. Then I was patiently waiting for Oct 1st, which was the only time I did not try calling USCIS as the message from them was clear (NO VISA to give you). But Oct 1st, they can’t give this reason and probably case should not pending due to that reason. I took this as a reason and started chatting with Emma almost everyday until my request was appropriately heard and taken some action by the agent. some agents are not so helpful, ignore them and move on to next available agent. All I have done is to convince the agent that there is something wrong with case processing and my application processing should not be paused due to VISA nonavailabilty. I convinced the agent with a proof (point out Nov visa bulletin and category as priority worker, EB1A) and she sent a message to my application handler but most agents say they can’t send message. but if they think you are right and your request makes sense, they do something about it not necessarily sending message to adjudication officer as they might know who is that but they can send message to NBC or wherever your application is being processed. Secondly, If they can’t send the message to adjudication officer, ask them what is the reason your case processing is paused or not getting updates. I forgot when was your PD and what step you are at right now. This year many EB1 cases took 4-6 months for adjudication as per my observation. Look at the Hilites data, it is very very helpful to predict your cases based on the applications submitted in each week/15 days. Sorry for the too long post but the idea here is that other fellow immigrants should proactively follow up their cases when they feel their cases are not timely processed. I hope all legal immigrants deserves the green card, as they work hard to earn it!

@JK, Hilites is a good brain food, allows you to play with numbers, visa approvals, possible dates, there are several ways to look at the data. You can pretty play a prediction game with your case on Hilites. Good luck!

@Ashton darling, I totally understand the frustrations behind and waiting for more than 600 days. It looks like your case has been taken up to be processed based on your fingerprints done. If you are in EB category, Expect a decision, If you are nonEB applicant, I would think of an interview, but it goes by case to case basis. I would wait for a bit and check with Emma if you haven’t done recently. Good thing is your case is processing now. when did you complete fingerprints?
