I 485 Approved for my Husband!
I am the Primary of our case, my husband is my dependant and his I 485 got approved and I haven’t got any update on mine!
anyone had something similar happening?

@Barbara Bauer mine is almost same: me and husband have applied to gc in June 2019… in Jan, 2024 his case updated with rfe, sent his medical.. his case got scheduled for an interview, interview cancelled for no reason, now just waiting.. I’m the primary applicant though, no movement - it doesn’t even take the outside normal processing inquiry

we didn’t need interview because our case is based on approved asylum. @victor _kc

@FD GC we submitted everything on the envelope!! all vaccines, everything. they didn’t request RFE.

@Barbara Bauer I know a couple who filed together like you and received approval 2 years apart. Don't worry it is a rare case. you shall be approved within 2-4 weeks

the only difference is that my I485 application also had my I131 and that one was transferred to Nebraska. not sure if that means the whole case was transferred. @Alex B my husban application didn’t have I131

@Barbara Bauer yes, you won’t receive as your medical are 2023, mine were 2019… these papers used to expire in 2 years, and that’s why USCIS been requesting new ones… this year 2024 new law was signed, that medicals must worth 4 year
