I-485 approved! finally
After I long wait, they finally approved my case. I got transferred to the Chicago office from Salt Lake City, Ut. For the ones who recently got approved, do you know how long it takes to receive the physical card?

@Marisabel Gaspar when did they send your case to Chicago? I'm also SLC my case is also in Chicago except I found out yesterday they are going to be sending it back to SLC for an Interview. looks like I'll be waiting a long time like 21 months wasn't long enough I now have to wait further to get an interview and SLC processing times now at 40 months who knows when I'll be approved. 😭

@jade jagger I think it was around February this year, they asked me to send my medical forms to Chicago, so I assumed my case was transferred there since they didn’t schedule a interview in the salt lake office and didn’t ask to send the medical forms there. I talked with an agent later and they confirmed it was transferred to Chicago and that my interview was waived.

@Marisabel Gaspar thank you and congratulations. they told me my case was also moved to Chicago in February and that my interview was waived but now they're saying my case was entered into the system that schedules interviews so my case will go back to SLC and who knows how much longer since processing time is now 40 months

@jade jagger I am sorry, this process is so tedious and I am glad I’m done with it, but I really wish you can get your answer quicker, they are terrible in their organization and how they process the cases, I’ve seen cases get approved in 6 months and they started their process last year. Anyways I really hope you are done with this soon. best of luck 🤞🏽
