@alecyia Our interview was on august 19th at 12:50 pm at the Kendall Field Office in Miami, Fl. We arrived at 12:30 and waited until 12:35 to go to the door (they’re strict about the 15 minute before appointment rule). We got there, the officer checked our interview notice and let us in immediately. There was no line. We went through security and then checked in with a person who asked us if we had traveled or had Covid symptoms in the last 10 days, or around there. Afterwards, that person also asked to see my ID and the interview notice, and gave us a number and directed us to sit. After waiting for about 30 minutes, an officer called us and walked us to her office. She was smily and nice, and we kind of had to cross a maze to get to her office (the place was so big). When we got to the office she sworn us in and then told us to turn off our phones and Apple Watch. After that, we sat and the interview began. It’s important to note we had already submitted a huge folder with evidence, including photos, since the first time we sent out our forms, so she already knew many details about us. First she said she would go through my husband’s application petitioning me, and she reviewed the file while asking my husband his name, DOB, address, she confirmed his parents’ names, his job, and if the signature in the paper was his. Then she asked how we met, and he started telling the story. She was smiling and I asked if I could also talk or if it was directed just at him, and she looked at me like: “of course you can!!”, so we kind of both told her our love story. After that, she asked how we decided to get married since we are so young, but she went to check our ages, because we honestly look younger than we are (he’s 27 and I’m 26). After my husband told the story, we could tell she started cutting us off at the end, as if she wanted to proceed to the next question, but we were just so happy telling the story, haha. Afterwards, she said she was going to review my application. She went through it while asking me for my full name, DOB, address, parents’ names, if I was working (I fully disclosed I worked without authorization last year, both in the interview and on the form, and also told her I’ve been babysitting for a month), and she asked me if I cancelled my visa, since I came as a student; she also pointed out I am a nurse in my home country, and she asked how my validation process is going, which I told her, and she pointed out how great my English is, and that that’s gonna help me so much. Then she asked me some of the yes/no questions, and she made me sign the form. After that, she told us to give her any extra evidence we brought with us. We showed her a photo album from trips and events with friends, and she laughed at some of the funny pictures, and also said: “you went to the Green Day concert!”, all super friendly and relaxed. She took some pictures and mentioned how it broke her heart to destroy albums like this. We also gave her our car title, registration and joint driver’s insurance (both of our names). We handed her plane tickets, concert and other events entrances, and even a reservation of some boards we rented at the sand dunes, to which she reacted saying it was nice memorabilia, so she wouldn’t take it from us. She also took some copies of letters my husband and I made for each other for our birthdays, and she said the comic strip my husband made of us was so cool + proceeded to ask about inside jokes within the drawing (some words we made up, haha). After that she asked us what our plans were now, and I told her we were dying to move out of his parents’ house, because right now Miami is super expensive and I need a proper job with a contract so we can apply; I was telling her how sometimes I felt uncomfortable, because they only have one bathroom, and stuff, and she fully agreed. After that she kind of cut me off, so we didn’t tell her about any more future plans. We made sure we gave her my husband’s parents letter that confirms we live with them, which is why we don’t have any Bill to our names, and she said that was fine. At the end, my husband just double checked with her that we had given her any new stuff we brought, and she said she had everything she needs. After that, she told us to keep being this organized for the Removal of Conditions interview, by gathering evidence of every trip or event we have, and she gave us the Section 216 notice, which she made us sign. Afterwards, she gave us a paper saying our interview is under review , and she explained she needs to go through all the new evidence before she can make a decision. We thanked her and she walked us out.

@colombian how did she take you working ? also why did she mention removal of conditions interview? my interview is in mid September
A LAug 30, 2021
did you have a 2 year GC previously. that why you got that removal of condition?
C
Colombian ApplicantAug 30, 2021
@A L she was super understanding and didn’t say anything negative at all. She mentioned the removal of conditions because we’ve been married for less than two years, so the GC I’m going to get is conditional. She was basically praising how organized all of our papers were and telling us to keep it up.
