damn, that sucks, what's your field office?? look at the processing time and submit the request online

they keep telling me its normal time frame when I can obviously see other cases are moving faster

it really sucks how they are working on the cases with 2022 PD and ignoring older one

i thought they work on cases according to when they received them first.

well that's wht I thought too till I see people applying in January February 2022 already have their green card

yea RFEs after 4 months, and nothing since then

what about the work permit? did you file around the same time as i did?

yea, nothing, just case is received that's it

hopefully our cases move. im sorry but I am really in envy of those filing late and still getting their stuff earlier lol

@cobra i dint hear till the 5th month so you should be hearing something soon after rfe received

I have exactly the same problem 🥺 it’s frustrating…. my case was filed in October 13th… no EAD, no AP….nothing… I don’t understand why cases filed in 2022 are going faster…

@f s here just put in your zipcode and it will tell you who your congressman is you can call or email but i called and just explain to them whats wrong and then they will let you know what they will need from you https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative

i’ve heard some cases filed in 2020 have no updates either. seems to be only working on 2022.

@my time, i will do it, I guess the congressman will be the best option right now. @f s, it’s a shame that uscis is forgetting the old cases, it’s very unfair.

truly unfair. if we filed it first then why not review ours? but they make the rules so.

really, it's so so frustrating, and yet we cannot do anything but just see them 2022 filter getting approved, not that I m not happy for them, with all my heart I am but, at the same time the stress and pain, the agony I m going thru, my wife is going thru, it's just not fair

I am happy for the people who get approved too but it’s so hard, they can move on, get a job…since 6 months, I am doing nothing, sometimes I feel useless…. my husband doesn’t know how to cheers me up, I just want to work at least!

@Lorin, F S: i think our best option is to contact the congressman and explain the situation. Maybe they support us.

i feel useless too. we are all on the same boat. but know that we are not useless! with the given circumstances, it’s out of our control. we don’t choose to not work. their system is taking too long to process us so how can we work legally?

@lorin, I called USCIS and they told me the same! it’s like no help whatsoever on their end. i am not being impatient about the green card. but at least provide some work permit. they’re having labor shortages almost everywhere anyway

I think they are trying to move this year's cases faster and show that their avg processing time has improved and they are doing good compared to previous year or previous administration,, seems like it's all politics

either way guys we have waited it long enough, we will hear from them soon, and Please do not feel useless just coz of this, we all know good days are coming, just getting lil delayed that's all😉

@Aurelie: you cannot work until you get the EAD, no company will hire you with the uscis receipt 🥺 it’s terrible not being able to work…the wait is terrible!
