i-485 after vawa approval
Hey everyone! to those who’s Vawa was approved - how long after the approval of the I-360 did you have any update on I-485?

my advice go to your medicals with a uscis medial surgeons and get it out the way..

@blessed nikay I submitted my medicals already. I actually applied for my i485 way before i360 and some things happened a few days prior to my interview for a green card. I was hoping it will be faster since I was technically already at the interview step for the green card originally.

I have been waiting for more than a year and no movement or request for medicals.

about 2-3 months after my VAWA was approved i received RFE for medical. it’s been 385 days since they received the RFE and no news on I-485. My I-485 was sent prior to I-360. I requested my AOS to be held In abeyance pending VAWA approval. VAWA was approved early 2025. prior to submitting VAWA I was also at the interview stage
