I-485 adjustment in court before immigration judge
So, I-130 has been approved by USCIS and I-485 has been filed with court since I was in removal proceeding. My question is is it Mandatory for my US citizen spouse to go to the court with me or it doesn’t matter!!!! Please insight from people who experienced it are really appreciated. thank you 🙏

what do u mean by go to the adjustment ? are you saying interview ? adjustment is not something to go with. that’s adjustment of status (what it’s called for$

she probably should go so at least the judge can see shes there to support you. That said do you have a lawyer? If you do he/she can advise you best.

@Allah waheed I heard, if you ever go to court is better that you go with a lawyer they know better and I’m agree with ER, I think your spouse has to go with you as well, Good luck with everything 🙏🏻

Why didn’t you file it by marriage then when you’re court hearing you should have got it an the judge would dismiss the case

@Allah waheed Go with you spouse and make sure to have a good lawyer that’s what I did and I was granted a 10 year green card

@Allah waheed it takes about 20 minutes and the judge only going to ask you questions not your spouse

@Tan Tan Also please was it online or you had to go to the court? I know someone that was scheduled in person but ended up doing it online
