Thanks. I did. There’s no new documents there. That’s why im asking if anybody’s I-130 was approved on a Friday. I’m Anxiously waiting on Monday so I can chat with an agent

hello brother congrats , how long did take to get approval after they transferred your case to field office?

my i-130 got approved in March and so far still waiting on i-485

I don’t want to water down your hopes but my I-130 got approved May 2023. my PD is August 2021 and till now my I-485 hasn’t been approved. There seems to be actions taking place though. I hope yours comes faster than mine!

@lucas Pimenta about three weeks. My progress online was showing two months then it jumped to 15 months. I chatted with an agent who said my case was transferred to the field office which could explain the time increase. I got discouraged but within a week it went from 15 months to 4 months and got approved at 4 months. So be mindful of the my progress tab

@James LL @IB Ton @person brown Thats what I have been reading up on that there are a lot of pending I-485 but at least we are half way there. Hopefully, we all get approve soon 🙏🙏

@Figo veloz yes I was approved yesterday for my i-485 but i had to do an interview. The reason was because I had answered yes to a question that should have been no. The interview was just about my i-485. So all the stuff on the i-485 application such as your name, spouse name, date of birth, date of marriage, working in the us unauthorized( which i said yes, even though i had put no on the form) etc. The interviewer also asked to see our joint documents. I had a folder with all the ones we had already submitted which i handed to him and he quickly when through, with no questions. He then started explaining to me that i would get a conditional greencard thats when i knew i was approved

The next day i got a RFE which was canceled 5 minutes later. I assumed they thought I didn’t submit my medical and send the RFE but found it within minutes. My case was then approved the following day after the cancellation of RFE

oh and to add my husband was not in the interview since my i-130 was already approved
