@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 it all happened this morning. I got an email that said USCIS took an action on my case and it said the case is being actively reviewed but the I 130 approved pdf was in the documents tab.

I sent the I -485 evidence that they requested via fed ex to the local FO overnight express and it will arrive in their hands tomorrow morning 🤞

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 I also sent evidence for the wedding two days ago via FAX to the USCIS for the I-131 Travel expedite request so I can get to walk down the aisle with my father to renew my vows.

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 Ive spent well over $3000 for this whole process not including the fax and FedEx shipment costs to send evidence. it costs $2.25 per page to fax! 😔🤧🤒

yea. the fees that lawyers charge is insane. I should have done more research. knowing what I know now I would have filed myself. I paid them thousands to organize my photos and evidence. and they didn’t even tell me I needed a long form birth certificate!!! I figured that on my own and could have had it in time had I known and avoided an RFE and probably 6-8 months of additional wait. @Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞

ugh! yea I only had my original one when I was born that fit in a wallet. I didn’t know long form was even a thing but my kids’ birth certificates has SO much info on it… like parents names and addresses etc. I thought that was a US thing vs Canada. sure I could be pen pals lol.
