I got denied revelry and I’m filling a motion to reopen. The reasons of denial are: • The petitioning sponsor's 2021 Federal income tax return.
• A Form I-864 of the latest edition date from a qualifying joint sponsor..
What is Requested Nonimmigrant or immigrant Classification if I’m married to US Citizen? I’m applying for greencard. is it LPR?

I got denied for the same reason as well but my lawyer said it’s better to reapply than file motion to reopen I’m married to a us citizen

i don’t understand why would they deny your case??? I filled out an old edition of the form and not the right tax year…they send me RFE to re-send the documents.

@Camille Claudelle my i485 got denied which means i765 as well but my i130 changed to actively review same day the i485 got denied reason for denial was because we didn’t send the recent tax return for our joint sponsor we filed in March 2022 we got a rfe in April for joint sponsor tax return my sponsor gave 2019 2020 for some reason uscis said they only received 2019 for that reason we got denied my lawyer said filling a motion to reopen would make the case longer that filling a new application is better
my filling date was march 11 2022
case was denied May 1 2023 after 1 year of waiting
hopefully we don’t have to wait for another year to be approved
