I-140 premium processing after 20 months long wait?
My timeline is
PD: 22 December 2022
FAD: 1st Apr 2023
RD : 05/03/2024
Filed 140/485 concurrently with I-140 regular processing
It’s been 20 months since no update…
Question: any first hand experience who upgraded I-140 to premium processing after a long time and also got approved on I-485 quickly after that?

I have the same PD. I did premium processing when my pd became current back in March and the i140 got approved in June. I still have not gotten any updates on my i485 that was submitted about 20 months ago!

jan 2023 pd here. Filed concurrently in late feb 2024. Did premium processing on i140 after 18 months to get it approved which was two months ago. No update on i485. Concurrent applications have been stuck for some reason.

I have the same PD but I filed Feb 2024. I-140 got no updates for a while so I turned on premium processing in Dec 2024 and got approved in Jan 2025. My I-485 didn’t get approved until Oct 2025 so to answer your question, no, it wasn’t quick 😭 I’d recommend doing premium processing if you are financially able to, just to get one foot through the door

Same PD. Filed concurrently in Feb 2024. Had to do PP earlier this year. I-485 still not approved. I think the filing window of Feb 16, 2024 to end of Feb 2024 are taking longer than usual.
