I-140 (NIW) Approval and I-485 Status Update
Hi all,
My I-140 (NIW) with a priority date of November 22 was approved on October 23 at the Texas Service Center. Subsequently, my I-485 (adjustment of status) was transferred to another office, though I’m unsure which one—possibly the NVC.
What steps typically follow this transfer? When can I anticipate receiving a Request for Evidence (RFE) for medical exams? And any insights on a potential green card issuance date?

@David USA Yes! but how long is it taking to revive the RFE now a days? it’s been 2 months since approval and visa boletín current

My priority date is September 2022. My case was transferred from the Texas Service center to Buffalo NY in January and I received the RFE for the exams in March. After the exams were delivered at the end of March in April my case changed to Case remains pending until now. My case has been pending for 7 months.

@jesus prato is your PD current? I think it will go to CRP if your date is not current!

Fanal Action Date is 15 July 2022. it is not current for EB2 category

@Yernar Z I filed for concurrent adjustment of status along with the EB-2 NIW petition within the USA. Hence, the relevant visa bulletin date for me is the one in effect for January 2023. My priority date is November 2022. Progress with the adjustment of status has been slow, and I would like to know the timelines for what comes next.

@John Doe thank you for sharing your experience! Since may23 still no new updates? I’ve heard that after submitting response to RFE medical examens, you typically get the GC 90 days after. OMG it takes forever 😓

@jesus prato I received an RFE letter around 1 month after my PD became current. They received my response 3 weeks ago but I haven’t had any updates yet.
