It doesn’t affect for I140 because they don’t consider your evaluation based on country. It will only affect for I485 and I765 where background checks might consider your country for security checks.

@Snm S If you are filing I140, I485 and I765 all together like in the case of NIW EB1 for rest of the world, it does affect. If you are only filing for I140, it should not affect. But getting I140 approval is not going to help that much. Final goal is to get I485 approval here.
