I-131 Travel Authorization with approved Vawa
Hey Guys, my VAWA was approved in March 2023. Imigration requested my medical exames and they updated as received in July and that’s it!
I did a case status inquire on their website to know why is taking so long for I-485 but I feel like it will be take forever for an answer.
I’ve been thinking of applying for I-131 travel permit, before I couldn’t cause I’ve had a court, but now that the court was terminated based on VAWA approval my lawyer said I can apply.
Anybody with a similar situation?
How was it for you to go out of the country with travel permit and approved VAWA?

Hello @C D You can travel once you have the approved Advance parole document. That's why the document is issued. I just came back through Chicago, with a pending Vawa using my AP (I stayed almost 6 months) and re-entry was very smooth.Anyway...I still think each and every circumstance is different. Good luck.
