HELP
...please tell me what to expect and what to do.
The situation is as follows:
1. I have a valid password for TPS until April 2025
2. I got married and am in the process of changing my status
3. I applied for a password + EAD together - I was waiting for a combo card - a regular one came only EAD
4. They are delaying the timing - they wrote a week - now it is case taking longer than expected
Does this mean that they will not give me a new password for AOS?! But I can drive with a TPS password??
*I read somewhere that you can't get 2 AP at the same time…

I think you’re talking about advanced parole (not a password). my EAD came on day 12 and my advanced parole travel document came at 11.5 months in. it’s normal for them not to come together and it’s normal for the process to be “taking longer than expected”.
you need a drivers license to drive… go to the DMV with your EAD as proof of your pending AOS case and you will get a drivers license. @Lera Nikitina
