@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 I did the same thing and they will call you and ask you for the reason, if it is humanitarian based, they will call you within a week to your local field office with the necessary documents (proof for travel like I had medical documents stating surger for my mother) and then they will issue a paper document parole for 40days. good luck!

@Ali Syed I have all of my documents ready for the appointment to expedite, including receipts, supporting letters, and travel plans. I even gave the congressman of our state consent to follow up with the expedited case. Fingers crossed I hear back soon!

@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 right away, the officer gave me one for a week and I said I need it more than that so he went back and issued me another for 40days right away without any charge even though the website says $1500 fee for i131 but I wasn’t asked to pay anything.

@Ali Syed How long after their phone call did you have to wait to meet with an officer in person?

Our expedite request was rejected. Will try again and hope and pray that things work out.

@Ali Syed when trying to upload evidence, the message system on the USCIS website portal is not working, and I can’t upload my evidence to the I-131 case on the website either. I’m at my wits end.

@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 they gave me a couple of dates which were a week later another was a month later, I chose the earliest and went with all the evidence for the surgery to the field office in Atlanta.

@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 I’m sorry to hear that, you should have your us citizen spouse call them and tell them it’s inevitable/all other synonyms of necessary, use big words that you need to travel, this is what I did and then they gave me a date. try again after a couple of days, good luck!

@Ali Syed The USCIS agent I spoke with over the phone did not even know that they allow weddings to qualify for an expedite. It just goes to show you how little they know and how poorly trained they are. 💩

@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 I’m sorry I never experienced that, I had submitted those documents in person at the field office and they printed me i131 right away. They took finger prints at the FO. that’s it.

@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 I think they will either issue you one and then mail it or maybe they’ll call you at the earliest like closest date available at your FO and then print you one. you should call them(info pass number) to check up on it from tomorrow. Good luck!

@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 yeah! they had mine too but took again anyways lol I don’t know why but they did. I had my interview on June 26 2023 and waited for the GC till November 2023 and then I went for i131 to travel internationally.

@Ali Syed I just received an email from the USCIS with a referral ID for inquiry about my I-131 expedite. The email said, “the National Benefits Center will contact you concerning your case once they have reviewed my inquiry. Please allow the office 10 days to contact me through email.” Did you receive an email like this?

@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 I saw your post about “actively reviewing your i130 and 485” I hope that you get approved before your i131. that’s the pattern I’ve seen so far on lawfully. one day you see “actively reviewing” and in few days you’ll find them both to be approved.

@Ali Syed We were asked to send in more evidence for forms I-485 & I-864 but we saw the request came from our local FO, which is promising. I am uploading the evidence tonight to the portal.
